- Since 1985 I have supported my writing habit with my day job of helping people find and renovate the perfect home or apartment, in San Francisco and currently in my hometown- New York City. I've worked as a dog-walker, artist's model and biochemist but prefer writing fiction above all. My published novel is "The Girl Pretending to Read Rilke" and I'm completing "Sex and Sinclair Lewis: Tales of a Greenwich Village Girlhood".
